Gulf Oil Appoints New General Counsel

Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts – August 2, 2016 – Today, Gulf Oil announced the appointment of Chris Paul as the company’s General Counsel.

As General Counsel, Mr. Paul will oversee Gulf Oil’s legal matters including capital markets, M&A, corporate governance, commercial, contracts, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Paul joins Gulf Oil with over 29 years of industry experience. Most recently he served as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Blueknight Energy Partners, LP. Previous to joining Blueknight Energy, Mr. Paul held positions with McAfee & Taft, Joyce & Paul PLLC, Sun Company, Sun Pipeline, and Sun Refining. In addition, Mr. Paul served as Counsel under the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

Mr. Paul holds a BA in International Studies and History from Dickinson College and a JD from The College of William and Mary.
